Lauren Nemes, RMT

Originally from Montreal, Lauren moved to Toronto upon completing her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science to pursue her passion; Massage Therapy. Lauren is a graduate of Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy and is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario as well as the Registered Massage Therapists' Association of Ontario.

During her time at Sutherland-Chan, Lauren had the opportunity to participate in several specialty clinics where she treated seniors, pregnant women, stroke survivors, breast cancer survivors, and pre/post-operative patients in the thoracic surgery ward at the Toronto General Hospital. Her previous experience working in spas has enabled her to provide an effective yet relaxing treatment for her clients, making sure they are comfortable throughout the massage. She tailors her treatments to her clients' needs and goals and strives to achieve them one massage at a time.

In her treatments, Lauren incorporates techniques and modalities such as general Swedish techniques, myofascial release, rhythmic and joint mobilizations, muscle energy techniques, lymphatic drainage, and scar manipulation.
