Eun Kyoung (Ivy) Chai, RMT

I have always had a passion for being a part of the health care  community and have founda fulfilling career as a Registered Massage Therapist. I am a graduate of the Wellspings College of Massage Therapy of Professional Massage Therapy Program and also an active member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. I like to use many modalities such as trigger point therapy, myofascial release, Swedish Massage, stretching, joint mobilization, and hydrotherapy to ensure effective treatments.  It is my joy to help people recover from varying acute and chronic injuries and conditions, seeing them become pain free quickly, helping people maintain optimum sports and activity performance, de-stress and relax, feel good and maintain good health. In my practice I focus on posture and structural alignment, the myofascial structure of the body, pain relief, relaxation, stress management, and therapeutic exercise. Comprehensive assessment, keeping up to date with evidence based research, and taking the time to understand my patients’ goals are the values to my massage therapy practice.  I am passionate and eager to facilitate healing with the techniques I have learned, as well as more that will be acquired through continuing education courses. I understand that every patient presents differently, therefore a specific treatment must be provided.
